Wizz Air Pathway Programme

Wizz Air

The Wizz Air Pathway Programme:
The Cadet Programme that takes you straight to the cockpit.

The Wizz Air Pathway is the only Cadet Programme in Italy offering tangible opportunities:

✈️  After successfully passing the selection process, you will receive a conditional job offer from the airline, even before starting your ATPL course. This is the only selection phase you will need to face: from that moment on, you’re on a direct path to Wizz Air, with no further recruitment steps — other than maintaining high performance standards throughout your training.

✈️   The airline will pay in advance the costs of your APS-MCC and Type Rating, significantly reducing your initial financial investment.

✈️  During your Type Rating, the airline will provide you a training salary, and fully cover your accommodation and transportation costs.

The programme aims to transform young cadets into highly skilled pilots, equipping them not only with strong technical expertise but also with essential personal and professional qualities. Selection is managed by Wizz Air through an initial assessment process. If you successfully pass the tests, you will begin your training at our Academy without the need for further assessments before being hired by the airline.

We understand that choosing a flight school is a crucial decision for aspiring pilots and their families. Factors such as financial investment and career prospects play a significant role in the selection process. In an industry where the demand for pilots is continuously increasing, airlines must find fast and effective solutions to train new professionals who meet the sector’s highest standards.

Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest-growing and most sustainable airline, has chosen our Academy as its trusted partner in Italy for selecting and training future pilots. This is a unique opportunity for those who dream of turning their passion for aviation into a successful career.

The Wizz Air Pathway Programme represents a great opportunity for passionate students interested in becoming airline pilots and confirms the reliability and professionalism of Urbe Aero Flight Academy.

How it works

Even before starting your ATPL course you will be tested by the company through a selection process with two online tests and one day in presence.

Upon successfully passing the selection process, the airline will issue you a conditional job offer, subject to completing the course within the expected timeframe and achieving the required results. This will allow you to approach the investment in the ATPL course with the peace of mind of knowing that you will immediately begin your pilot career upon completing the training program.

Throughout the entire process, the initial selection is the only assessment you’ll need to complete.  No further tests or evaluations are required before joining the airline. In case the Wizz Air selection process is not successful, the program includes additional entry gates to retake the selection. In the meantime, you can enroll in the standard ATPL course.

The APS-MCC and Type Rating, will be entirely paid in advance by the airline, which recover a small amount from the salary of the future pilot. During Type Rating, the company will provide a training salary.
